Whether we are lifelong residents or still unpacking, we can equally find a
sense of belonging. Gahanna is truly operated by its citizens; there is a need
and opportunity for everyone to participate.
Over thirty five congregations worship our strong Creator together. They support
one another in good times and bad. The Junior League offers baseball, football,
and cheerleading. The men's softball and flag football associations, the soccer
association, the Gahanna Swim and Racquet Club, the Hunters Ridge and Foxboro
pools, the senior citizens' club and the parks and recreation commission all
offer recreational opportunities. The Sanctuary Board manages our public events
facility. The Historical Society preserves our history. The Parent Teacher Organizations
are active in our schools. The service clubs lead wonderful public events and
provide for our many needs. All of these organizations are citizen led and operated.
Each group wants to benefit from your help and friendship. Gahanna is a place
rich in variety and opportunity; a natural world of flora and fauna; a place
to come home.
We all welcome you! Roll up your sleeves; we need your help!
Sincerely,
Becky W. Stinchcomb Mayor
