    Central Ohio’s premier event for teens is back for the 7th year!  TeenFest gets bigger and better each year and 2008 is no exception…check out the events planned for this all teen event:

    • Battle of the Bands—Got a band?  Tired of playing in your parent’s basement?  Got nowhere else to play?  Come play August 9th at the Gahanna TeenFest’s Battle of the Bands!  If you’re in a band, or know a teen in a band that wants to play in a professional venue, the TeenFest Battle of the Bands is the event for you!  8 bands will compete, only 1 will come out on top.  Send your application to teenfest@gahanna.gov by July 25th to be a part of this premier event.  The victorious band will win fabulous prizes including recording time from Musicol Studios, air time on CD101’s Front Stage 101 www.cd101.com and gift cards provided by Music-Go-Round.  Win or lose, participating bands can sell their merchandise. 
    • Video Games—Want to show off your Guitar Hero & Rock Band skills?  Come play for FREE at TeenFest!  Rouge Gaming  www.rogue-gaming.com will be at the park from 4-9pm.
    • Skate and Bike Demos—Biking and skating your thing? Old Skool Skate Shop  www.oldskoolskateshop.com will be at TeenFest for the third year to skate with everyone who stops by.
    • Vendors—What’s a festival without food?  We’ll have vendors on site to satisfy all of your fair food cravings.
