Hello and happy Friday! We hope you all had a great week and got to enjoy some of the sunshine on Monday and Tuesday! We have plenty of fun activities coming up to celebrate spring. Make sure to stop by our St. Patrick’s Day party on Monday, March 18. See you all next week!

GASAC Elections

The Gahanna Active Senior Advisory Committee (GASAC) serves the Gahanna Senior Center community by helping to plan, promote, and volunteer for special events and activities. The committee also welcomes and supports new and existing Senior Center members. Members of the committee are elected by our Senior Center members each year in May, with one of the 7-member committee appointed by the Parks & Recreation Board.

There are 3 positions open this year and we are seeking volunteers to run. Information and an application to apply to run for the Committee are available in the office and should be submitted by the end of March.

AARP Tax Assistance

AARP will be providing free tax prep appointments for seniors by appointment only on select dates until April 11 at the Gahanna Golf Course Clubhouse (220 Olde Ridenour Rd.) Please call (614) 648-2839 to schedule an appointment.

Chair Volleyball

Join in a game of Chair Volleyball on Monday, March 25 at 12 p.m.

Prime Tours Presentation

Representatives from Prime Tours will be at the Senior Center to discuss their upcoming trips on Tuesday, March 26 at 10 a.m.

Chair Yoga

Chair Yoga will be held Tuesday, March 26 at 12 p.m. This free class is beginner-friendly and best for anyone looking for a slower, restorative yoga class. Sponsored by Synergy Home Care.

Dessert with Devon

Come hang out and grab a treat with Devon from Taylor Springs on Tuesday, March 26 at 2 p.m.

Rock Painting

Join fellow senior Elizabeth Jefferies to learn new techniques for painting rocks on Wedneday, March 27 at 9:30 a.m.

World of Travel Presentation
