Walk in our Boots 5K

Come join us Saturday, April 20 from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Park at Creekside for the 2nd annual Walk In Our Boots 5k that will benefit local homeless Veterans. There is a growing need among our Veterans and we are committed to helping them any way we can. Be part of the solution and walk or run with us to support them.  Employees that participate can submit their registration fee to gatewaytohealth@osumedctr.edu to earn wellness dollars and also earn 1 wellness education credit!

Upcoming EAP Training

Suicide Prevention Training QPR: Question. Persuade. Refer. 

This 60-minute training is FREE and facilitated by Bronson's trained QPR facilitators. Just as CPR prepares you for stepping in to assist in a cardiac crisis, QPR teaches you to intervene to prevent suicide. As a QPR-trained Gatekeeper, you will learn to:

•    Recognize the warning signs of suicide
•    Know how to offer hope
•    Know how to get help and save a life

Working/Living with Someone with Neurodiverse Challenges
Wednesday, April 10 at 1:30 p.m.

Neurodiverse individuals (ADHD, Dyslexia, Autism Spectrum) may not be appropriately diagnosed, or may not have the resources and tools to best facilitate their capabilities. How then, can you help family members or colleagues feel comfortable in sharing challenges, and find evidence-based strategies to help them to thrive? Join us as we explore this critical topic and share concrete strategies for helping to maximize their talents, goals, and passions.
