Hello and happy Friday! We hope you all enjoyed the warmer spring weather this week. As the weather warms up and we get closer to summer, there are plenty of fun activities to celebrate the changing seasons including our Spring Fling on May 3 at Hannah Park. We hope you all have a great weekend and we will see you next week for more fun activities!

Spring Fling - Date Change!

The date of Spring Fling has changed! It will now be held Friday, May 3 at 11 a.m. Get in the spring spirit with lunch and activities at Gahanna’s beautiful Hannah Park. This event is sponsored by Taylor Springs and Schneider Insurance. The Senior Center will be closed on May 3 due to the event.

Earth Day & Arbor Day – Free Tree Giveaway

Celebrate our planet by visiting the Senior Center the week between Earth Day and Arbor Day (April 22-26) to pick up a free tree seedling, while supplies last. Proper planting instructions will be provided.

Registration for May Day Trips is now open. Trips include the Columbus Clippers Game and Hocking Hills. June Day Trips will open for registration on Monday, May 6. A full list of all spring trips can be found here. Registration must be completed in person and credit or debit is the preferred payment.

Make new friends and learn how to make stamped tea towels with instructor Bea on Monday, April 29 at 10 a.m. $12 cost covers materials. All ability levels are welcome.

Wii Bowling Open Practice

Come try Wii Bowling at open practices on select Fridays starting in May at 10 a.m. This is a game that anyone can play either standing or sitting. Everyone is invited and instructions provided. If you're interested, come to one of the following open practice sessions: May 10, May 24, May 31, and June 14.
