UMR App Adds Mobile Wallet Support
Great news for UMR app users! Starting May 9 for Apple devices and June 13 for Android devices, members will be able to add their health plan details to their smartphone’s mobile wallet using the UMR app.

Benefits of Mobile Wallet Access:

  • Fast, secure access to plan information anytime
  • Tap to view plan number quickly
  • Easily view family member plan details

Important Reminders:

  • This feature does not replace the UMR ID card
  • Members must still present their physical or digital ID card at provider visits
  • Providers rely on ID cards for verifying coverage and billing

Wellness with OSU Urgent Care & EAP

  • As a City of Gahanna employee, you can schedule an appointment with our partners at OSU Urgent Care by calling them directly. The number to the Front Desk is 614-366-4578 and their team can be reached during normal business hours for scheduling and questions.   
  • Through our EAP Provider, Bronson HelpNet, you can request non-urgent counseling online quickly and easily. Access the Online Request form for Counseling Services.

Risk & Safety - Electrical Safety Month

Lithium-ion batteries can ignite during transport or in landfills, posing a fire hazard.  These batteries can be recycled for free at local retailers such as hardware stores, battery supply stores, and electronics stores.  Check the retailers website or call to confirm.
