Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day
We’re proud to partner with SWACO to bring you Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day this Saturday, June 28 — a safe, easy way for Franklin County residents to properly dispose of items that don’t belong in the trash or recycling bin.
Accepted Items Include:
- Oil-based paints and stains
- Insecticides
- Automotive fluids (motor oil, gasoline, antifreeze, brake fluid)
- Household cleaners and polishes
- Batteries
- Fluorescent light bulbs
Unaccepted Items Include:
- Medications and medical waste
- Tires
- Ammunition
- Appliances
Proper disposal helps protect our environment and community. Let’s work together to keep Gahanna clean and safe!
