November Safety Tip: Watch Your Step!

As fall settles in, it brings more than cooler weather—slippery conditions become a real hazard.  Here are a few quick reminders to help prevent slips, trips, and falls this month:

• Wet leaves = slippery surfaces.  Walk carefully and treat all wet areas with caution.
• Use handrails.  Don’t carry items that block your view, especially on stairs.
• Wear proper footwear.  Choose shoes or boots with good traction for wet or uneven ground.
• Clear walkways.  Keep paths free of debris and report spills immediately.

Bonus Tips for November:

• With shorter days, ensure work areas are well-lit—carry a flashlight if needed.
• Be prepared for cold snaps by keeping extra warm gear nearby.
  • Check vehicle safety kits.  Make sure your vehicle(s) have emergency supplies stocked and ready.

New Employee Spotlight

Cordell Cardi – is our newest police officer and he has two Australian shepherds and enjoys vacationing in Florida.

Hope Moore – is our newest HR Administrator. Hope won her fantasy football league last year and loves going to live concerts! 

Kevin Miller – is our newest Facilities Maintenance Worker. Kevin has been married to his high school sweetheart for 15 years and they have 3 kids. He enjoys working on his family’s 100 year old produce farm.

Austin Gaddy – is our newest Service Maintenance Worker. Austin enjoys spending time in the local parks and he also like helping his wife in the garden.

Matt Kincaid – is our newest Facilities Maintenance Worker. Matt and his family love camping and he likes to take his sons on backpacking trips each year. Matt also enjoys model aviation!
