Parks & Recreation Board
The Gahanna Parks & Recreation Board consists of seven appointed members: three by the Mayor, three by City Council and one member of the Gahanna-Jefferson School Board. The Board meets at 7 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month at the Gahanna Senior Center, unless otherwise noted. For more information click here.
Landscape Board
The Gahanna Landscape Board consists of five members appointed by the Mayor and City Council. The Landscape Board meets on an as-needed basis. All meetings are open to the public and citizens or groups that would like to attend are welcome. For more information click here.
Bicycle & Trail Advisory Committee (BTAC)
BTAC was formed in 1995 to enhance the walkability and bikeability of Gahanna, provide access to natural areas, provide healthy alternative transportation modes for residents and reduce the amount of traffic on roads. BTAC also works to educate children about safe, active transportation in partnership with the Gahanna Department of Parks & Recreation and the Gahanna Jefferson Public Schools district.
Gahanna Active Senior Advisory Committee (GASAC)
GASAC meets regularly to provide input and suggestions regarding Gahanna’s Active Senior programs and the Gahanna Senior Center. Committee members are members of the Senior Center.
Natural Resources Advisory Committee (NRAC)
NRAC is tasked to inventory the natural resources in each of Gahanna’s parks. Community involvement is welcomed.
