The Department of Public Service is responsible for operation, improvement, and maintenance of all public infrastructure (sanitary sewer, storm sewer, domestic water), roadways and traffic control, city buildings, and fleet operations. In addition, the department is in charge of snow and ice programing and also oversees the waster collections operations and contract. The department is made up of a number of divisions to perform these functions.
